The gang is hard at work, well most of them. Johnny Reb the delivery guy is chatting up the Chandlers Receptionist over by the Shop door. The Captain is walking to the back dock to see how the uncrating of his new powered capstans are coming along.

The fellows over on the rail car are trying to get a crate into position for unloading.

Yea, Johnny's quite the chatter. He'd better get busy unloading that crate he just brought in or he'll be getting a piece of the Captain's wrath when he returns from the back dock. Just might hit him upside the head with that fire hose in the background.

The dock crew is busy uncrating the second powered capstan that the Captain ordered for his freighter. They will have to be delivered out there later when the launch comes back.

Looks like there's also a ship's air vent to be taken out too.

Yep, looks like the whole crew is real busy around the Peacock & Sons Ships Chandlers. Lots of action everywhere.

Elsie the shipping clerk is yelling out of the warehouse window to Sam to move that crate off the dock so that Jim and Tom can get the one off the flat car. Billy is on his way out to see if he can help and Mr. Chambers the office manager is coming out on the landing to supervise it all.

They need to get those crates out of the way as that new prop has to be delivered down to the ship yard as there's a freighter in dry dock waiting for it.

Out front of the Shop, a couple of "old salts" are discussing the latest news in the "Seaman's Daily". Soon they will be window shopping to see what the latest in nautical gear is available for their boats.

Peacocks usually has the latest and best in nautical items ready to deliver to the waterfront.

Well, it's a busy day at Samuel Peacock & Sons Ships Chandlers, busy indeed.

Clarence is waiting for the crew to clear the rail dock so he can get the new drum winch unloaded. It had to go over to a local metal shop for some modification before it could be delivered out to a waiting oil tanker.

Finally we see a sailor walking away from the storefront next to the ships chandlers. Seems they haven't moved in there yet. We'll just have to wait and see who occupies this little gem.
